As the Department Chair of Political Science at West Virginia University, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of you. Whether you are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, I am excited to work with each of you to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment that will help you achieve your academic and professional goals.

For undergraduate students, our program provides a strong foundation in political science theory and methods, as well as opportunities to engage in research and internships that will prepare you for a variety of careers in the public and private sectors.

For graduate students, we offer a rigorous and supportive program that prepares you for advanced research and teaching in the field. Location and Directions

316 Woodburn Hall

We are located in Woodburn Hall on WVU's downtown campus. You can easily access Woodburn Hall from the Beechurst PRT station and Mountain Line buses.
